ohh wait forget the sd card adapter guys it has a 2gb limit per card and it only reads one card at a time so forget that just go with option #1. Newegg got the ultra II 4 gig cards for $100 and the regular 4 gig card for $87.
With the recent release of Popstation everyone is trying to squeeze the best out of their Memory Cards, heres the options available to you
1) 4GB Sandisk Memory Stick Pro Duo
4GB Sandisk Memory Stick Pro Duo, Retailing at $116 and is the easiest option to have big files on your PSP, but is it the cheapest.
2) SD Card Adapter / 4GB SD Card Combo
]
Play Asia sell both the SD Card Adapter and 4GB SD Memory Card, the price for both works out to be $125 but at least you can use the SD Card on other systems.
3) 4GB Hard Drive
Datels 4GB Hard Drive is the cheapest weighing in at $108 but also sticks out the most on the back. You also get a Double Strength Battery.
4) PSP Bank with 40GB Hard Drive
This option works with the other options and not really on its own, the idea is a great one, 40 GBs of space but the 3 above are the best in my opinion
So there you go 3 good options and one curious option, What option interests you the most ?

I got a 4gig Sandisk on special for 69 bucks from buy.com when they ran a special with Google about a month ago. Works great and I feel its the best option for portability.
On a side note how come no one has come up with a custom case that allows you to have something like the SD card adapter built in?
4gb stick is the best hands down.
The 40gb hard-drive thing would be awesome, if it had USBHostFS capabilities...
What about using that 40GB drive thingie along with IRshell?....does that work?
Hey there, gr42178.
I think the difference between those two cards is transfer and reading speed....I think.
ultra II cards are much faster in reading and writing.
So then its worth the extra 10 bucks if its faster...Thanks...So you enjoying FF8 Apok?
Nah because the device with which the HD is connected to needs to be able to run USBHostFS server.
The only real viable solution is a Micro PC from Norhtec, with Linux and a 2.5" hard-drive capability. The reason its the only viable solution is because its so small.
Hell why didn't I think of that earlier lol
