Just checking around looking for the Introductions forum, but this is the closest I could find so far.

I'm mainly here looking for information on how to get my M3 DS Simply to work, so expect to see a bunch of dumb n00b questions from me in the near future

On the CD that came with your m3 simply copy the firmware file to your microsd card and itll load up, then you just need to copy software to it the same way.

If you can't find the right firmware file, go to m3adapter.com and grab the latest firmware (version 1.2 last time i checked)

Thanks souLLy, but I actually got past that part, and have even found two applications that work. The trouble is that most apps don't work, and I'm interested in finding out if there's anything I can do about it.

lots of stuff was developed with the old slot 2 carts in mind, so lots of homebrew stuff doesn't currently work with the slot 1 cards, but expect that to change soon as coders update for them
