Now I see, it was a bid to free flash0 space to jam in the slash and blood gameboot, as its file size is 516kb.

The font shouldnt have done that much. I believe it might have the the update.rco file that done it

I'm not excactly sure but doesn't X-flash v18K delete the update_plugin.rco, along with the associating update_plugin.prx? If it did, my PSP that was previously on 3.03 OE-B' didn't brick and worked fine. I got the s&b gameboot on that afterwards using PSP filer 2.5.
