First of all update to 3.03 OE-C

Then go into recovery and go to Advanced/Toggle USB (Flash0)

If your psp is connected via USB to your computer, a folder should come up.

When the folder comes up go to vsh/resource.

The resource folder has all your fun little modding files.. and some that you should never touch

If the XMB pictures are already compiled into an topmenu_plugin.rco then just drag it into the folder and say ok to overwriting.

If not then you need to get the XMB compiler (Try search button) and use that to compile the pictures first.

    Hope that helped.

PS. if you dont want to update cause you want cintro still, then you can use a homebrew app called topmenu flasher and use that to flash your topmenu.

PSS. You can also recover back to 1.50 and use x-flash to load up your topmenu.rco
