3.03v downgrader & HEN for v3.03 Released - Newest PSP Firmware Downgradeable

yes, is their supposed to be any other files in the psp/game/update file then the UPDATE.PBP?

First of all stop double posting like that, redownload the file and re do the whole copying procedure, you may have deleted something by mistake.

How do you know, by the outside of the case, that the GTA is the version you need?

DosuKinuta, this is how to do it. If you are not already at 3.03, update first and then continue.

1 - Format you memory stick. If you have anything on it, you should back it all up to your computer beforehand.

2 - Download the 3.03 downgrader from the forst post of this thread.

3 - Extract the contents of the zip file. Copy the PSP folder inside MS_ROOT.

4 - Obtain the 1.50 updater from HERE.

5 - Extract the 1.50 updater to your desktop and rename it to UPDATE.PBP from EBOOT.PBP.

6 - On your memory stick, put the UPDATE.PBP in the PSP\GAME\UPDATE folder.

7 - Run an unpatched version of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. After it loads, the screen will go black and then blue. This is an indication that the HEN (Homebrew Enabler) has started. You will be returned to the XMB (the PSP's menu bar).

8 - Check your version number by going to Settings, System Settings and System Information. If it says 3.03 HEN, you can start the downdate.

9 - Go to Game and then Memory Stick. Run the PSP™ Update ver X.YZ. You will be asked if you wish to continue. You need at least 75% battery power for the downgrader to work.

YKB thanks for the help but I have all the steps down pack except for where to put the downgrader files at the only place I tested so far is the savedata area and when it comes to loading it just says corruted data and yes i'm working with an unpatched GTA
The main problem for me is where to extract the DG files to can you give a specific folder
