As the title suggests, I am the biggest N00B ever. I have a PSP firmware 1.50 and I would like to upgrade to 3.03 OEC firmware so that I can play my old PS1 collection on my new PSP.
Now, I'm new to this whole emulation scene so please bare with me. What I would like is a slow step-by-step process of how to upgrade the firmware, get my PS1 games onto my PC, and finally how to put them from the PC onto the PSP.
I realise that I am asking for quite a lot and I am sorry that I am ignorant of the emulation community. I have been looking for guides for several hours but they're all too difficult for me to understand. Any help would be greatly apprecitated.

Well, that clarifies how to upgrade to the correct firmware but it does not tell me how to import my PS1 collection onto my PC and then onto my PSP.
Do I need a special program or can I just burn them?
You rip them using a program such as alcohol120

I think you use something like PSX2PSP to convert the file to eboot format. But I'm not the most reliable person to be giving information regarding popstation. >_>
