Default Help with SNES Emulator please.

Hi, I just arrived in these forums yesterday, and have searched all around for guides on getting Homebrew/Emulators working on my PSP. Using a guide, I was able to get a Sega Genesis emulator working with no problems (and I'm having a lot of fun with my old Genesis games now ), but I can't get an SNES emulator to work. I have googled with no success as everything I found was from around mid-summer 2005, and they all say you need to have 1.0 firmware. I originally had a 2.70 FW then upgraded to 2.71 and then down to 1.5 FW.
This is the guide I used for the genesis emulator http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/sho...56&postcount=1 .
    ----IMPORTANT PART------
I tried NesterJ, and the software will run, but when I try to load a game the screen goes blank with fuzzy red lines flashing. Can somebody guide me step-by-step on exactly how to get a SNES Emulator working on my PSP? Thanks, and sorry if that post was a little long, wanted to supply the most info possible.
EDIT: Okay, I missed a part, because I got confused with the names. NesterJ was the name of the NES Emulator that would run but not run Super Mario Bros., and that was the only ROM I tried. The SNES emulator was called something else, and I couldn't get it to run at all.

You should upgrade to 3.03OE-C. Just a recommendation. But that won't change how the emu will run. Okay what you want is snes9xTYL-0.4 ME

Now download that and open it up. Drag all the contents in the 1.5 folder into GAME. That would be the snes9xTYL and the snes9xTYL% folder. Now put all your roms into the roms folder and you should be good to go. Some of the steps were a little obvious if you could get the nes emulator working but its not too big of a deal.

The Super Mario Bros. problem may very well be the rom itself. Try finding another version of it. If you're still having problems with anything I'll see if I can figure it out. But for now just try those solutions. :]

    EDIT: I forgot there's a new version. http://yoyofr92.free.fr/psp/snespsp.html
Some people had problems with it so if this doesn't work just go with the next lowest version on that site. I believe the version is 0.41

well I got the SNES emulator working. Thank you. I'm going to worry about the NES Emulator later. I am new to the PSP Hacking and Homebrew scene as you can tell, but When the PSP first came out, I was actually all over it. I didnt have a PSP then though, I was preparing myself for when I would get one. When I finally got it, I decided to not risk bricking, but there are no good games on the PSP now anyways, so there's nothing to lose .

Great :] I'm glad you got it working. Yeah I was looking over the scene too for awhile. I had a 2.71 and I was pretty excited once the tiff eloader came out. Then there was a downgrader and I finally got to use that snes emulator.

But yeah definitely go for the 3.03OE-C

If any good games come out for PSP you'll be able to run them. Plus you can run PSX games full speed.
