    Default Bricked?

I just used the Easy Downloader provided in the stickied topics to go from 2.711 to 1.5.
The installation appeared to go smoothly, however, my PSP doesn't seem to be working.

I can turn the power on and the green light appears but the screen remains totally black. IS this what a "bricked" PSP does? Is there any way to fix this?
    Thanks.

Don't use the "easy" downgrader, it doesn't mention waiting 30 seconds before turning on your PSP after the downgrading is finished. This could result in a brick.

Actually, it mattered while he was downgrading.

My guess is he didn't check for TA-082, and downgraded with an old downgrader that doesn't check for TA-082.

    Edit:

Nah, couldn't result in a brick at all... That's probably not why he bricked.
