This could be a beneficial help if someone can help me. I have a psp running 3.40 oe a, and I just purchased a holux m-1000. So if I get it working we can add it to the list of working gps's. I have gotten the green screen to work, and I read 8 satellites!!! but I can only get the gps 290 eboots to work on my psp. When I put the holux eboots on my psp I get an error. do I need something else to get it to work. I have the 3.40 accusb.prx, and gpsusb.prx files. I'm wondering if I don't need these for holux but I deleted them before and it still didn't work. someone please advise me thanks.

After creating the POI file...( like shown at the begining of this thread )
where exactly do I put that file ?
Is it gonna be my new map that I load at the begining when I start MAPTHIS, or somewhere else ??
and does someone actualy know WHEN mapthis v0.5 will be out ?
thanks...
Sergio,
Montreal
I dont understand all those words can someone tell me how to put Map This on my psp please!
First of. Thans for all the great help on this site. I do have a question. I have 3.4oe and works great. The only thing that I have not been able to get working is getting directions on the PSP.
When I input an address in the PSP, it can never locate it. Am I doing something wrong. Missing some file or something???
anybody with the psp290test.rar ??
if you have it can you please upload it plss
looks like the bin directory, containing most of the zip/rar files disappeared during the server crash..
I sent Pm to wraggster asking if he could restore it from backups... if not, I'll look through my own files and upload...
You have to put POI file to the map folder of the map of your area.
So you've made a POi or root _My Montreal
put it into your folder of the city map _Montreal (which you already created with GMDL).
Best regards.
By the way. I was traveling to Montreal with my PSP and PSP-290 and at the centre ville it was difficult for GPS device to catch sats. It doesn't like city "trenches" - roads between high buildings . What about your device?
