    Question Coding tutorials?

i want to learn how to do basic programming and coding so i can make my own games in future. i never took computing at school, so i really don't know the first thing about it. bearing in mind my distinct lack of knowledge of this subject, and my ignorance nof computers in general, is there a decent place to start? (on the net, book, dvd, whatever)
