Although most fans probably weren't expecting Deathly Hallows in this online medium, a lawyer for JK Rowling's literary agency confirmed today that Deathly Hallows would not be released in an e-book format. The previous six Potter novels were not released as e-books either.

Concerns for releasing a legal e-book include online piracy and the "desire for readers to experience the books on paper."
