It would be a daunting task; it really depends on how much of the sector effectors are the same; if none are, then they all have to be converted by hand.
I'll take a look at it sometime during the week and see how hard it will be.
Ok, I don't think many people have ever heard of lameduke, the extremely beta version of Duke Nukem from 3DRealms. I am wondering if anyone can convert the maps from this game to work in Duke3D.
Sorry, I don't have any experience with Duke maps or textures or models, etc.

This would be great if it did work with duke3d.
I'd be happy though if someone would just tidy up and finish off the duke nukem port weve already got for psp (the ability to save/load etc).
That's be great too, but I don't have a compiler to load the source. I lost some of my programs when my hdd crashed a while back. I am lazy though, that could be why I don't have it at the moment. I'm also going to be looking at the Unreal Tournament source that was recently posted (I doubt I'll get anywhere with it though).
Ok, first, sorry for the back to back posting.
I found the converter. I am about to go and try it out and post back the experience.

Ok, I got it to work, but some textures don't display right. It could be the reflective surfaces, I'm not totally sure. I'll keep looking into it for the next few hours.
I can't play the game all that well on my machine, so I can't see what the deal is. But is the converter actually bringing the textures over in the conversion or just filling the level with Duke3d textures?
