A new version of OpenITG has been released.
OpenITG is a Dance Dance Revolution, Pump It Up, EZ 2 Dancer, and Para Para Paradise simulator for Windows, Linux & Arcades.

Installation instructions:

  • Replace your patch.zip with the downloaded one (it is located at /Data/patch/patch.zip in your OpenITG install)
  • Replace your game binary with the downloaded one (Linux binary is in the root directory, Windows is under /Program/)



Changelog (abridged)

  • Fixed: engine would refuse to run if a loading window was not created
  • Fixed: RageFile would attempt to write to read-only mount points
  • Added global Lua values for versioning checks (more documentation TBA)
  • Added progress bar on the loading window (currently GTK-only)
  • Linux: updated splash banner to match OpenITG splash on Windows
  • Added e.g. "1 of 200" for loading songs on the loading window
  • Re-enabled reading Lua data from USB profiles, now with a blank-environment sandbox
  • Removed preferences: ´AllowExtraPlayerOptions´, ´CustomsLoadMax´, ´CustomsMaxSizeMB´, and ´CustomMaxStepsSizeKB´
  • Removed ´LightsDriver_Dynamic´ and associates; may backport LuaDriver later on
  • Give version to SM Online as "StepMania 3.95", since we haven´t changed any network logic
