yeah hex editing it is the only option i have tried it before and have had no luck it always comes out messed up.

there must be a way instead of hexedit

you need a custom topmenu to rename icons, and guessing from your sig, you meant 3.10 OE A', not 3.03 OE A' (unless you degraded and didnt update your sig)
3.10 OE = no custom topmenu
3.03 OE = custom topmenu, xflash can edit, but only has same options as 1.5 (so it cant rename camera, for example)
