Everybody Votes Channel

Well my UK Wii has just informed me of a Nintendo update message which has originated in the last few hours. Apparently there is now a 'voting' channel downloadable from the Wii Shop.

However the Wii requires a system update apparently before this can happen.

As I can't see any real reason why this would be the case for a new channel, I'm a bit dubious in case there's some hidden modchip-disable code in there. But then I'm also paranoid!

Either way, the "Everyone Votes" channel is crap and I don't think it'll be that big a day a week from now.

I would be more worried had they offered a system update and no new content.

the channel isnt great but it kinda fun to go on and vote on random things, im pretty sure nintendo wants a channel a month in 07 and they couldnt finish any good channel so they made a time watser, and i bet your right about the chip
