Which faceplate is better quality??

Ok. I found 2 faceplates that look similar. One is $40 higher priced than the other one, but I don't know why....

One is the Asterix Platinum from here:

Is there any difference? I think I'll get the Asterix one because more money normally means higher quality... I dont want to waste $20 on a peice of crap.....

hmm ijust ordered a faceplate yesterday. it was $20 and was XCM. if your patient enough to wait a week i'll tell you how the quality of mine is..

I'd go for one of the new dual layer faceplates , such as http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/sho...ght=dual+layer

or an original.

I have one of http://www.psptree.co.uk/item--PSP-c...es--Part3.html in dark metalic green, which has the screen as a seperat piece of plastic to the rest of the faceplate.

The screen and faceplate arn't flush and it lacks the quality feel of the original, but looks great and cost half the price.

Some faceplates like this come with, or you can buy, replacement plastic screens, so you dont have to replace the whole faceplate after a scratch.

And who knows, maybe having the screen seperate, makes it stronger than the original, it hasn't cracked yet.

well mine was supposed to have came today but it didnt so maybe tomorrow i can tell you if its any good.

EDIT: ok mine came today. put it on and crap everything looks good. screen feels like it could pop off a bit easier that i would have hoped but other than that the only problem i see is it feels a bit flimsier. looks good though.id recommend for $20.
