CWCheat - no cheats. (Chrono Cross)

For some reason, after using the CWCheat database editor for about 10 minutes to gather useful cheats, I threw my modified database into the proper folder booted Chrono Cross, but nothing. I'm not sure if I've made a mistake, or what ever could be wrong with it.
