dir /A > c:\file.txt
It's not very sophisticated but it should work.
Really don't want to spend the time to write one from scratch. A tool that can generate a list of files from within multiple subfolders as well as hashes for them. Or maybe even just a listing of the files (you know, exportable).
I know I've used something to do this in the past, but I can't remember at all what it was called.
Thanks.

It might be shooting a squirrel with a cannon, but NOTHING beats Directory Opus for ANY file management task.

ooooOOOOOoooo interesting mr monroe. Since I also am wanting to do hashing on them I might try to find some sort of script. Not sure yet, I'll figure it out at some point. Thanks for the suggestions.
