I have custom firmware 3.52 M33-2. My own conversions of my old PS1 discs don't work - they worked fine on my previous 3.40 OE-B firmware.
Has anyone had the same problem, or can offer a solution?
Thanks.
You should try using M33's Universal popsloader. It allows you to use the older versions of Sony's official PSX emulator, since game compatibility may increase or decrease with new firmwares. You'll need a firmware decrypter to extract the necessary files from an update eboot (for example firmware 3.40 if that works better for your converted games) for the loader.
Consult the readme with the popsloader for more detailed instructions, but now you have all the necessary tools.

download this version of popstation and go into the data folder, copy the BASE.PBP file to the PSX2PSP file folder.
Problem solved enjoy~
