If it messes with something after the XMB boots thats ok.

If its flash to do with something before the XMB boots and its wrong you have a total brick.

I have also semi-bricked MANY times, but it was because i was changing things that take place after the XMB boots.

Atlast Sony agreed to come and pick it up with a replacement.

thank you all for your help.

but now since they will give me a psp with no homebrew can you guys show me a good place that sells 1.5 psp's. and do you guys reccomend getting a psp thats not black becuase i heard newer colours dont have that annoying square button problem.

EDIT: 1.5 or anything downgradable. and if anyone can post the letters of the boxes in correspondance to the firmware

EDIT EDIT: there are no downgraders. so can someone give me a guide to buying a psp with the correct firmware and non TA-082

TA-082's are now fully downgradable as well as TA-086's there's no need to worry about the motherboard at this point in time right now you just want a PSP that at the highest the firmware is 3.03 anywhere passed that its not downgradeable but don't worry about the motherboard

I've never bricked my PSP, although I flash about 2 items a week.

    I think 3.03 was a M box code
