Here's an extract of the 3.10 OE-A installer readme:

    ----------------------------------------------------

    Changes in 3.10 OE-A:

    - Change from 3.03 firmware to 3.10

    - 4th level of brightness (aka battery eater) can now be selected also without ac adaptor.

    - Changes in hen core:

    * Static user elf's can now be executed in the 3.10 kernel. (this includes snes user version
    between other programs)

    * Tyranid's patch (added in 3.03 OE-C) consequences was not explained very well in the changelog of 3.03 OE-C:

    - For programmers: it allows kernel modules to have user imports, making kernel programming
    in 3.03/3.10 less strict.

    - For users: plugins and applications that worked in 2.71 SE, but not in OE, *may* now work in 3.03OE-C
    and 3.10 OE-A.

    ----------------------------------------------------

I think you should update to 3.10 OE-A as it's the best, unless you like the custom XMB icons which aren't working there.

Not a great deal then i suppose when sony releases games with a higher upgrade than 3.03 it may then be worth the change.

    However Dark Alex still rocks

    BTW cheers YKB

i think 3.10OE-A' has the best pal psx game support. So if your into playing pal games then thats the firmware you should be on. I myself am on 3.10OE-A'

3.03OE-C is the best for customizing xmb and such. If your not into custom stuff, then you mind as well update to the highest custom firmware out. Which is 3.10OE-A'. Also get the pops plugin to have the 3.11 psx on your psp as well.

I have a question regarding 3.10OE-A' as well. I tried to use the internet browser and I get the blue screen that says "Setting information is corrupted. Press the O button to repair and restore default settings." I then press O and it just reoccurs when trying to enter the web browser. I was wondering if 3.10OE-A' supported the internet browser. Also if it doesn't, did 3.03OE-C support it?

I have changed to 3.10oe-a' and it is better than 3.030e-c and I have logged on to the internet no probs so it appears it does support web browser I can only think your settings must me wrong have you tried a factory reset to see if that cures the problem.

How do I perform a factory reset? If it's when you press the O button on the blue screen, I've already tried that.
