am i screwed?

ok so for some reason my "home" button is constantly on. i cant do anything because it keeps asking me if i want to quite. i removed my faceplate and it still was doing it. so is there any way to disable the home button entirely?

Take the face player off again and take the metal home buttons of the edge of the screen and dis attach the whole piece from the mother board but don't pull it out take the little clip off first. Then put it back on that is how I fixed it when this happened to me.

i just cut out the little round piece that pushes down when you hit home and i think it fixed it. i think thats what you meant to do but i did it before i checked the thread thanks anyways.
