I gave this a try and it seems really good - and in some ways it is way better than the XMB.

The real problems I have with it is the speed (it's way too slow) and the fact that you have to configure it too often.

I really like the icons (KDE inspired if I'm not mistaken) and options that are/are going to be in it.

If someone could make KDE icons for the .rco that would be totally awesome.

Does it run the pspradio and pmpavc programs within the shell like a vsh does in the xmb, or does it boot out to the software?

That would be the difference between a shell and an XMB replacement. If it runs within the shell, when will wifi network support be implemented so I can browse my computer's smb shares?

I love PiMPstreamer. That's how I watch videos in the can or shower! I just walk around the house doing my daily stuff while watching the daily show. Perfect match.

I sort of agree. I find the Firefox icon a tad offensive... Links was a much older (but pretty awesome for its time) project thats been around for a very long time.

the links logo looks sort of like this.

I love the idea, but I plan on re-skinning this myself as well

I think this is the official site of the links browser. Its a great minimalist browser... not exactly one you will ever need... but even so i great bit of code. (no there are no windows executables for it on this site)

looks a bit too cartoony for me and plus i like the sony XMB, i mean its sleek and this just looks like a kidz done it, but all the extras that have been used psp radio implimented and so on is exclante !, maby when we find out why top_menu_plugin.rco dont work on 3.10 OE we can rename the icons edit them and also creat our own tto impliment psp radio into the XMB and such, untill then this is the best thing :P

    nice work
