Photoshop and The GIMP (Open source equivalent to Photoshop) can handle 8 and 32-bit colorspaces. You'll have to work with a format that can handle 32-bit color spaces, though. This will probably limit you to BMP, PNG, PSD, XCF, and maybe TIFF.
I have been getting some icons i want to use in a custom xmb but when i try to add them it says that the colour depth must be 8bit or 32bit does anyone know of a way to convert them so that they can be used in the xmb
