3.03 oe-c or 3.10 oe-a?

ok, im getting a new psp tomorrow an it is coming with 3.03 oe-c. should i upgrade to 3.10 oe-a?can 3.10 oe-a load absolutely everything from memory stick?(mainly can it run all 1.5 homebrew)?

Keep on oe-c because that way you can fully customize your xmb

im not bothered bout customising xmb.i am bothered bout playin pal ps1 games tho.so i should get 3.10 oe-a right?

I would think 3.10 OE-A is your best bet to go with.

also, i dont know if the psp im getting is a ta.ive read theres a problem with the backlight when using 1.5 homebrew.how bad is this problem and can you get around it by pressing the light button?

well it depends. what version was the psp at first from the factory? if its was 2.71 or higher then you will get the backlight problem. but the problem isnt big, if your screen in bright on the XMB then when starting a 1.5 homebrew game it will get dark. and opposite if its dark at xmb. u can still change the brightness of the screen but it will go backwards.. like.. in this order: Bright, medium, dark.

so u can still get full brightness on ta while playing 1.5 homebrew.well u cant really call that a problem

Only stay at 3.03 OE-C if you want to get into a lot of customization, otherwise upgrade to 3.10 OE-A.

3.10oe-a only has better support for pal games in pops it does'nt have full support but like ssaxdude said if your not bothered about custom stuff then there is no reason to have 3.03oe-c That said though I was'nt bothered bout custom stuff and had 3.03oe then saw the great custom xmb's on show and went back to 3.03oe-c and i now have a heavily modded PSP and loving it.
