Plants Vs Zombies 2 will be released exclusively on iOS devices on July 18, Popcap Games has announced.The sequel is free-to-play and has been rebuilt as a “live service”, says the studio, with new ways to play the game added regularly.On top of the familiar tower defence, there’s a time travel mechanic and a host of new levels, plants, zombies and power-ups.
