Australia and New Zealand Get PSP on September 1

In all the excitement about the European launch date for the PSP, we plain ignored the fact that our Antipodean cousins will also be enjoying the PSP from that date.

"A decision was made as to how to allocate [ the number of available PSPs]," said Warwick Light, director of sales and marketing for Sony Computer Entertainment New Zealand, explaining the delay.

"New Zealanders will benefit in some ways because there will be more titles to choose from at the launch," Light said.

So that's alright then.

and dont forget us NZ'ers! We getting overcharged by about $100 USD! ($430 NZD = $340 - $350 USD). Is there someone that can explain this to the rest of us? And dont say its tax either.

and oh, woopdidoo we get more games on launch. That still doesnt explain the extra price we have to pay.
