I never had one, but I remember them for sale in a bargain bin at incredible universe. I also had a similar device that I put phone number into and could look them up and have it dial them (via a speaker and any touchtone phone).

I was 10/11 then, I had a tiger handheld like that one but Im sure it was sonic 1 not 2.
When I got an original brick monochrome gameboy with mario land 2, the graphics were 'mind blowing' for a portable (to me).
Simpler times
