The second annnual <a href="http://www.dcemu.co.uk/dcgp2005.shtml" target="_blank" >Dreamcast Coding Grand Prix</a> is now underway, the follow up to last years <a href="http://www.dcemu.co.uk/dcgp.shtml" target="_blank" >Competition inconjunction</a> with GP32 Extreme and Lik Sang, this year you can enter anything from Emulators to Games, Demos, Multimedia Apps, Software, Beats of Rage, Quake and Doom Mods and Fenix Games etc. The Competition starts now and ends on November 31st 2005. The prizes include a Nintendo DS, a NeoGeo Pocket Colour with 6 games and 2 Gameking 2 Consoles with games and Finally (for now anyway) a signed copy of Maqiupai by the author JMD, full details can be found on the <a href="http://www.dcemu.co.uk/dcgp2005.shtml" target="_blank" >Dreamcast Coding Grand Prix 2005 Page</a> and in the <a href="http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=75" target="_blank" >Official Forum</a>.

This years competition is Dreamcast only but that doesnt stop GP32 coders porting their games etc across.

Sizious, don't worry, you have more than an eternity to learn to program for the Dreamcast...
    Why ?
Because somehow, I think we will never reach the end date of the _31st_ November 2005...

Good to see you back in the DC bandwagon RockinB. :P

Now I've got to get back on the Saturn bandwagon.

    That'd be great!
You are lucky: there'll soon be a coding contest running in parallel to this which accepts Saturn entries. some software like DCFreeDev for Saturn will ease your start .

    Default about releasing an entry

Is it allowed to release an entry before the deadline?

I'm just asking because an other contest doesn't allow that.
