Alien Syndrome on Wii could look better

Here are some new screens of Sega's Alien Syndrome and we have to say, it's not looking as good as we'd hoped.

Alien Syndrome couldn't sound more exciting on paper - you play as space commander as fight aliens and giant mech bosses in huge spaceships and alien planets.

Sega says the game will combine fast-paced si-fi action with an RPG-style quest that will allow for two players to play co-operatively through 15 lengthy missions. These missions will be packed with over 100 different types of enemy to battle, and numerous side-quests to explore.

It all sound good to us, but we hope the game plays better than these disappointingly low-detail screens look.

Alien Syndrome is due out on Wii and PSP in Summer.

I don't get this. Even if the Wii is "two gamecube's duct taped together" we know it can do far better than this - Mario Sunshine looked better.

This smacks of laziness, like they developed the same graphics for the PSP and the Wii version and then put them into the different base engines, rather than upgrading the graphics for the Wii version.

Come on, SEGA - don't gyp up. Do it right.

yea right....this is screenshots from a psp game anyways this is a game from an anime eureka 7 either that or they stole ideas
