Question Just wondering about open edition...

Is it possible to update from 3.02oe and skip directly to 3.10 oe without having to update to 3.03oe? Just wondering cuz im updating my friends psp and i dont wanna brick it, oh and could anyone post links to a forum where i can use the psx emulator from the older firmwires on here too? oh and one more thing, is it possible to copy and paste the flash from the psp onto my harddrive without harming it? just in case if i semi-brick.

I would say you can go from 3.02OE to 3.10OE, but if you scared, just use the recovery pack to go to 1.50 and then go up to 3.10OE.

It is FINE to copy and paste flash0, it is recommended, for a backup.

You dont need a PSX emulator for 3.10OE, it runs PSX eboots?

If i'm right, I think you'll need a plugin to load any POPS you want.
Here it is, just follow the instructions.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to use it. So, if you have trouble, you'll have to ask someone else.
