xbox 360 If Blu-ray wins, Xbox will have it

The Blu-ray versus HD DVD battle is in full flow and Microsoft has said that whatever format wins the war, it will support it.

An article on the BBC website about the looming PS3 launch included a few choice quotes from Neil Thompson, head of Xbox in the UK. "The Xbox 360 offers a better gaming experience than PS3 for £150 less," he said. "The only debate is if you want to watch Blu-ray movies and pay the extra money for that feature. We prefer to offer the consumer choice."

Thompson isn't concerned about which format will or won't come out on top a few years down the line, adding, "Whatever format wins it is highly likely we will offer a solution."

isn't this old news? Microsoft already mentioned that a while ago. there is no need for Blu-Ray or HD-DVD in my opinion, the games are all that matters and DVD9's are apparently enough to run the best of them out there..if Blu-Ray is so great then how come the 360 games are comparable if not superior against the PS3 superior format..DVD is here to stay.

I heard some games load info onto your HD for a temporary thing, so you could get like 15GB out of a DVD9, if they do it with all games and use the 7 set aside their won't be a need yet.
