Still unreleased GPS Project for the DS:

Version 1.1 got adjustable zoomlevels and some eatly looking interface. things are coming to get thougether now. De maps are still pre-compiled in the ROM. The next fase will be figuring out how to setup a proper filesystem that will work

so, we need the GPS device, to connect it, into DS, then, it will work right?
do u know where to get that device

As I understand it, they are using the DSerial interface, which provides a rs232 socket. A lot of GPS devices output data in a common format, so I should imagine it's nothing that specific.

but that awesome when u have GPS on DS, DS could almost do everything now,

Since you can connect the NDS to A GPS Device. Is it possible to use this technology to connect the NDS to satilite radio(XM) or T.V.? This would be so cool. I hope someone has already thought to do this.
