Game save fix for some 4GB cards

Hi all,

sorry if it's old news, but this has been an issue for a mate of mine.

Problem
Upgraded Memory stick to 4GB
Running some games on PSP reports 'not enough free memory for game save' (or similar)

Solution
Use old memory stick (1GB in this instance) and create a game save.
Copy the save to your PC, then transfer the save to the new 4GB card

Run game with 4GB stick, problem solved !

We spent some time finding this fix, but thanks to Ninnghizzida on the Playstation.com forum for posting this fix...

It could be down to the 'cheap' card from EBay

Haha, it actually just so happens mine is a cheap fake card from ebay too
