Default How to match Mainboard with case?

    hey everyone,

I'm planing on building my own pc but my first obstacle is that I don't know how to match mainboard and case because they might have different sizes right? What label/value or dsignation do i have to look out for in order to match both?
    thx

Yes, there are different size motherboards but most conform to the ATX standard. Check the Wiki page here under the variants section. When buying case and mobo, check descriptions carefully to ensure they'll accept each other. i.e, a case supporting Standard ATX will take Standard ATX and Micro ATX. A case of Micro ATX dimentions will take Micro ATX but not Standard ATX as it's too big to fit. Hope this helps some.
