for mario64 frameskip 1 and sound enabled is the best way to go?![]()
I have to say this release is definatly faster than r9 by about 2 to 6 frames per second - it is a great improvement - mario 64 run pretty good not quite full speed but very close - text is still messed up in places, but very much playable - i also tried banjo kazooie and actually made it into the first level and got almost all jiggies then it crashed on me - that ran 15- 22 fps in some areas no frameskip and w/ audio turned on ... sometimes during crazy distance shots it would lag quite a bit but still playable - sound doesn't seem to effect fps too much whether it's on or off it stays pretty much the same fps. Thanks very much stormin' norman for your hard efforts - It was/is as always, worth the wait. I hope my input helps your developement. Great Job

your right, with those settings every game gets a speed up.
using frameskip 2 and unscalled 4:3 i got
20-24fps in mario kart (ingame)
15-22fps starfox
19-29fps in super mario 64

Great release but I vote for more speed ups and possibly if he can do it using the ME engine somehow too for the next releases. He needs to keep improving speed and then compatibility later on.
am new to this psp homebrew i download this to me psp the Firmware i got is 3.03 OE-b (dark alex one) how can i get it to work??
I'm probably wrong but didn't strmnnrmn say he's already implemented the me engine, but i agree speed needs some work - compatability for all intensive purposes is pretty high already but more compatability wouldn't hurt - i cant wait for expasion pack support - zelda mm and banjo tooie need it to work I believe. He's obviously brilliant so i can wait as long as it takes.
thanks so much!!!!!!! yeesssse!!!!!! full speed!!!!!!!(kinda)
yess!!!!! i know your real gona get full speed on every game!!!
Well since Mario 64 varies speed wouldn't that mean that the next release will make it close to full speed
