another question, can you do anything emulator/downloaded psp games wise without downgrading?
I'm having a tough time understanding downgrading. I know that it's used to exploit the psp so you can use emulators and such, but what I don't understand is why some people have their psp history all over the place. For example someone's psp history might be 3.0-1.5-2.6-1.5-3.0 oe or something like that.
1.why is that?
2.which is the best version to have or does each one offer something different?
3.what are the chances of bricking?

1. to show off what they have been through
2. 3.03OE for customizing xmb icons and popstation
3.10OE for better compatability with new games
released ( need popsloader to play psx games)
1.5 wouldnt recommend it
3.slim to none, but if you dont follow instructions it could definatley happen
4. 1.5, 3.03OE, 3.10OE firmwares have the ability to do so, but none of the official sony firmwares can except 1.5
