Very strange, sounds like the box is from the US PSP but there was a JAP PSP inside. Does the box say 1000K on it too?

To be on the safe side, compare the whole serial number (the actual serial number, not just the model number) from the bottom of the PSP to the one on the box, because if they are different and you don't let Lik Sang know about it then you might be out of luck if you ever need to use the warranty.

i hope they work on maybe a downgrade patch to 1.0 .. or bETTER YET.. make more homebrews for psp v1.5
