PSP firmware 3.30 OE Release in 48-72 hours

but the times running short for dark alex if he wants to fulfill that promise... i hope the ps1-compability will be improved, as some of my fav games still aren't working

Well, they did say he's still trying to decide whether to put it out immediately or wait till it's more feature-complete. Obviously I'd like to see it sooner and have features added later, but there seems to be support no matter which way he decides to do it.

You could always do what I'm doing: I'm so bored, I'm teaching myself to write PSP homebrew in Lua. (While at work!)

Nope, no news as of yet. I'm crossing my fingers that 3.30 OE will have an accompanying downgrader for the firmwares above 3.03, but I won't hold my breath.

Still... it'd be nice. :thumbup: But DAX has a lot on his plate; he's busy being awesome.

No, as you need an exploit for a downgrader. Coding a downgrader isn't as simple as just writing some C code and it magically works unsigned on the PSP.

C++ is what you nead to know. then you nead a good hex program then you nead a pbp maker. and a good eboot dumper.
