psp RosettaShard - PSP Interpreter for The Rosetta Stone and custom flashcards as well

    New from foebea:

Description of program: An application which has been long desired by some. This will allow you to use some of the more popular tools from the Rosetta Stone language learning tool while on the go. This early version includes 8 flashcards with sound. The flashcard images are royalty free images and the vocal work was done by my mom. This will allow you to see what the purpose of this application is, and with any luck, those of you who have not heard of The Rosetta Stone might check them out. They really are the best for language learning.

In order to make this program even more useful the final version will include a custom layout designer for creation of many types of games and quizes and fully customizable controls. Stay tuned for much more to come.

Just copy to the psp and run the program. Choose Quickstart to get into the demonstration. Once all 8 flashcards are done it automatically goes back to the menu. From the menu you can hit home twice to exit. In the flashcards, press CIRCLE to exit.

    Heyyas all..

Important to note regarding the file posted here, This is an inital demo release. The flashcards and voice in it are not that of rosetta stone, this is just a sample.

I have a new version which will be complete Sunday night. This will include support for the actual language sets from Rosetta Stone, so watch for the new update on PSP-Hacks when it comes out. It does not look like the download link on this forum is linked in any way to that site, so it will be out of date very soon.

Be sure to read the Readme in the archive to see what's new.

    Overview of new features:
Support for Rosetta Stone language sets. (conversion required)
Demonstration card set has been formalized and can be replaced with your own language set by dropping in your TRS files.
Ability to select which unit and lesson to start with. Quickstart now loads your installed language at unit 1, lesson 1.
Important note: If you select a unit or lesson that is not on the memory stick the application will exit.
Major Note I forgot to put in the nfo: The application will only load the first language set listed in your TRS file.
