psx file size help

i need 29 more mb of space on my mem crd to fit a thrd game. Can i shrink it slightly and still run it? if yes, then how? Btw I already removed almost every file i dont need or frequently use.

you could convertback to iso, open it and rip out some things that arnt needed. music, cutscenes etc.

Have you used a popstation gui that supports compression?

Just convert it back to iso then use good popstation gui to compress it cos it will definately save you the space you need

why do all of the popstation GUI readmes and psx-psp guides advise uncompressed ISOs if u can compress them? from what iv gathered the GUI compresses it whilst making the eboot but u need the original rip to be perfect to work... even then there's problems with some games.

both discs might not fit at the same time but you can swap the 1st with the 2nd... and you will need to use an emulator on the pc to make a savegame on the 2nd disc (cwcheat will help here)

Meh, I must of completed both games loads of times but I could never get all the mudokons.
