another £200 just to have one for homebrew and one for proper PSP gaming? no thanks ... ill wait till a loophole is found ...

Yeah, but in principal, as soon as an exploit is found for the current firmware, there's then jack $#@! to stop Sony from releasing another game with another compulsory update to close that loophole.
