Final Fantasy I Anniversary Edition includes english text

Will thoes who love the salty sea stop and go on land to purchase the game insted of fishing it from the ocean depts.

It's only freaking $38. I would like there to be enought sales to generate the need to port 4,6 and maybe posibly 7 (no system prior who recieved FF ports could actualy play ff7, yet psp is the first perfect canidate to recieve a ff7 cleaned up port).

This is a remake of the First Final Fantasy Game. The second game in the series Final Fantasy II is also comming out on the psp next month in japan.

We are also due for a tweaked port of Final Fantasy Tactics and a brand new Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core game.

FF1 & FF2 are beign released under the "20th anniversary" line and there has been many hints that they wish to continue past 1 & 2.

also where it says charecter names will not change
does that mean they will still be in JAP ...

It simply just means regardless if the names were inputed with english characters or Kanji characters, it will stay the same if the language is swapped.

So if I play in english with a character name of ABC then change to japanese, the name will stay ABC.

Many japanese games (including rpg) tend to let you input a name with english characters (a,b,c..) and not restricted only to japanese kangji.

That screenshot's... tampered with. The Japanese and the Japanese Kana selections are in kana, even with the English selection on. :P

And so far, the Japanese seem to have gotten the GBA translation and inserted into the PSP. :P Good game, though!
