No Sound through speakers

Hi guys,

I'm really hoping someone can help me out here as Im in need of help :P

I recently downgraded my friends PSP but for some reason sound no longer plays through the speakers. Sound does work however through the headphone jack.

Could this have something to do with a bad flash?

I'm really desperate to get this fixed for him and I dont really want to be the bad guy in all of this and ruin his psp.

Anyone have any ideas to try to get his sound to work again?

It is probably a TA-082 or TA-086 motherboard - they have problems with running 1.5 so your best bet is to upgrade to 3.30 oe-a (the latest dark alex custom firmware)
