"Natural Selection" PSP

I've been sat creating my own "Natural Selection" themed PSP.
At first the icons were poor and all except 3 appeared. I've now gone back and managed to improve them however none under the network now appear.

Any solutions?

your background might be too high res and what firmware are you on?

3.30 firmware. and how could I lower its "Res" safely? I want to try and keep that form of image quality

Hmm yes it was the background, now that I've reduced it to 256 colours it seems to partially work. thanks for the help.

try using this guide on your topmenu file

and if that doesnt work then try shrinking your background image (unfortunately you will lose image quality)

Turns out it wasn't the pictures res. but it's dimensions.

I'd accidently made it's dimensions 2x that it should be, adjusted and now fully working!

Heh thanks although it's not my own design, it's from a computer game.
