LONG *Maybe Helpful* POST regarding Resident Evil 2

I remember posting somewhere that if you start the Tofu or Hunk mini game using CWCheat you can go all the way to the Sewer (With the Spiders) but if you attempt to climb the ladder (Which leads to the Dog Kennel in the RPD Station) the game will freeze.If you want to explore more,and if you have the Dual Shock Version,you can use CWCheat to unlock Extreme Battle Mode. Now the weird thing is that you can play everywhere in the Lab and in the empty underground station.However when you enter the trolley (Where you would've fought the William Birkin Claw with Ada in the regular game) it freezes when you get off. Therefore it just doesn't freeze when you attempt to enter the RPD station the regular way infact it freezes when you try to enter the RPD Station PERIOD (Well you can hear the music but you just get a black screen :P) So disappointing to know that it can run all those other parts,which is infact incredibly far in the actual game, yet it can't run anything in the RPD Station.However I heard that one person was able to get inside it but the game crashed for him when he attempted to go in the room to fight the Licker (Im thinking they used a PSX Emu save to get to this point,could be possible ).Also there is one other method someone could try that I haven't done already, they can possibly use the "Play 2nd Scenario on 1st Game" cheat to atleast get inside the back courtyard of the RPD station,though I doubt it they can be able to pass through the door which leads to the RPD station. I even tried Location codes but they never work for me (Though someone might be able to get them to work) but now Im sure your all wondering what are the cheats well here they are...

See I thought that the files that the emulator on the PC would be similar to the ones used on the PSP, if not there maybe there is an patch/converter to make it PSP format?
Just a wild guess, anyway not much help

If I were Dark_AleX and would see in the release threads just bug reports and questions but no people saying thank you, I would reconsider making these custom firmwares.

So people, keep the "way to go dax" posts coming, DaX deserves them (and they are also something useful as they should motivate him to continue making those in the future ).

I have no intention of forbidding people from showing their gratitude and that was not the intention of my post. I just would like to see something more interesting and substantial in a thread. Anyone who wants REAL discussion would be hard pressed to carry on any real discourse when they have to wade through 5 pages of posts that are only 7 words long followed by a signature that takes up more space than their post. If that's not the case, why are my bug reports (praise included) never considered? Even when I post them on other forums, they just get drowned in lame posts. The only luck I've had is going through other coders who speak to DAX (and others) on a regular basis.

Though I don't care for your negative criticism since I thought my idea of why the new update would be useful considering the topic of updating PS1 save games, at least you have found a thought provoking and interesting way to show your support for Dark_Alex. Maybe you just hate PS1 compatibility between PSP and PS3 save games.

Perhaps there should be seperate threads dedicated to discussion and 7 word praise posts. Or there should be more of a shoutbox for the short posts so they expire and the truly useful discussion posts can be preserved. Besides, I don't think Dark_Alex even reads these boards. At least he doesn't post here. He probably doesn't care if the praise posts are here or not. Or maybe he does. Maybe I also care about all the discussion boards that (unbeknownst to me) are praising my name as we speak.

Sorry I post the stupidest stuff you've read in a long time. Maybe you should get out more.

Sheesh...I just upgraded from 3.10 OE-A' to 3.30 OE-A about 3 days ago and now he success in making 3.40 OE-A'!? Words can't express of how I feel. Thank you very much DAX for your support to the Hombrew community and to those in the world (and also your friends) who support you all the way. Bravo!
