I confirm that 3.30-OE's custom icons, fonts etc. work on 3.40-OE...

Do they work fine or does it still freeze when you try to go to the network icon with a UMD in?

No freeze for me
It may have been your theme's fault. Some older top_menu.rcos did not work because they didn't have the Remote Play icon, the Online Instruction Manuals icon, etc...

I can confirm that the Custom Silver Icons DO NOT work.

I tried to use them and they gave me a complete brick, as in a completely black screen , but i used recovery and reflashed the original.

I repeat 3.40oe-a cannot use the Custom Silver Icons, as of this time.

Well thats messed up my sleep, was about to goto bed and thought id do a last webcheck for any homebrew updates. Looks like im going to be up for a while now, lol. Only just upgraded to 3.30 OE-A a few days ago, installed 3.30 OE-A', but figured might aswell go the whole way and try out 3.40. DXAR file takes ages though, sigh. A massive thanks to DAX, i think he may actually be a supercomputer in disguise.......
