Yes, already converted games should work fine. You should not have to reconvert any PS1 games to work properly on 3.40 OE unless you did not convert them correctly in the first place.

So far, I've seen nothing but good things with 3.40 OE. No problems experienced yet. I will be upgrading another PSP to 3.40 OE shortly.

I'm mainly interested in learning about any POPS compatibility differences between 3.30 OE-A' and 3.40 OE-A. If there are any....

This is my first post. I'm currently running 3.30oea. My question is: if something were to happen in the upgrade process, or I don't like the new version, whats the easiest way to restore my current config? I read about the recovery menu, but I'm a little confused as to how to restore previous firmwares. Also, how would you downgrade a DAX firmware? Thanks for the help.

Those are features that are available to those in Japan only. If its a Japanese PSP, it makes sense that those features show up on that PSP and not the other.

First of all, i never said that you said he was wrong. I was just pointing out facts.

You said in a thread where you quoted me and talked to me directly "He is right". Then of course I have the impression that you mean I said he was wrong. Make sure in the future that you don't only point out facts but also who you are talking to.

Second, him getting an email account especially for fanmail is not a bad idea either. If he gets one, it's his choice whether or not he reads them, just as if it's his choice, using his time, whether or not he reads the posts on these forums.

Maybe, but you came up with that idea later, after you just said that people should email him, without thinking about a special fanmail address. That was really a bad idea and about the other idea... well it is DaX choice and useless to discuss it here but feel free to tell him about that idea.

The thing i don't get is why it's bad to send fanmail to a fanmail email address.

And finally, go to a random page and look at a random Thank You post. Now decide whether or not DAX is actually going to read that post. Nope, I guess not, I guess we really didn't need that post added to this thread.

That's what I mean. If DAX is too busy to get a new email address and look at his fanmail, how would he ever have the time to read through 20+ pages of posts, on 20+ different forums, for every one file he releases?

Well, it is useless to discuss DaX likings and why he has no special fanmail account (too busy/never thought about that yet/not interested). But again I think people who do something like that for free at least want some acknowledgment and so I believe also DaX feels deep inside some pride or satisfaction when he sees that so many people post in so many forums. And this effect is much higher when he knows that all these people see this too.
Imagine a person saying to you "Hapy Birthday" just in person or on the radio.
Of course every person is different but I am sure that more people (at least deep inside) would like this and the part of people who publish their work for free on the Internet should be even higher
Certainly he will not read every post for every release in every forum but what counts is the total amount.

And btw, I type about 80-90 wpm on average.

PD: Have anyone got the MGS : Portable Ops iso/cso to work?? Please if you do,reply or P.M. with the settings. I can't get it to work.
