FFIX please help

Im carrying peincess garnet after beating zorn and thorn. my party members are leveled at approximatly 14. Vivi is down and i have no phoenixdowns I only have one hi potion and a few tents. I cant face any monsters there is no inn or shop. and beatrix kix my ass! she just needs a few hits and im down. any ideas or ways to solve this problem. i got over confident and now im stuck, i thought to myself "im fine i can take on anyone" due to the easyness at the beggining of the first disc.

lol im sorry i just realized how un specific my post is.

I tried using CWcheat and It doesnt seem to be working. I cant seem to create a mcr file that is read properly by epsxe or any other PS emulator.

Edit: i have to find a way to get out of this corner and CWcheat doesnt display anything when i chose the cheat option

Have you added codes for ff9 in CWcheat?

I dont know how. i opened up the cheat.db file and saw that already there cheat codes implanted. si i thought it will let me chose the appropriate action. but all it does is display a black screen.
