3.40 OE-A Games NOT WORKING

I have this very same problem when I try to run a UMD of Medal of Honor: Heroes with 3.40 OE-A.
Yes, a UMD. Don't be smart-asses.
This doesn't happen with any of my other UMDs, and the Medal of Honor UMD will run just fine in DevHook, though I hate playing through DevHook because then I can't use my MP3 player plugin.
Also, on 3.40 OE-A, when I go into the recovery menu, the XMB's background will be pure black (rather than a wallpaper I set), and NOTHING will run.
I might as well just go back to the problem-free 3.10 OE.

I i got the same thing with initial d (UMD of course) maybe i gotta downgrade back before all of these errors appearing

me to same problem with NBA 07. how could i downgrade back to 1.5 so i can run devhook. can i run devhook while still having 3.40 OE-A installed
